In 1960, fearing a purge at the Glassworks, my father quit his job there and went to work for Owens-Corning Fiberglas in Newark, Ohio. We only lived there two years before he was transferred to New Jersey. Since we lived there such a short time I decided this should be a short page. This is a picture of my seventh grade class. Unlike my first grade picture I do remember some of the names of my classmates. In the bottom row on the far right is Doug Long. Dee Dee Long (Doug's younger sister) is third from the right in the second row and fourth from the right is the ever lovely Judy Jenkins and on the far left is Chuck Fink. In the third row (far left) is Charles Weaver. In the fourth row, third from the right is Candy Gerhardt. I can be found in the top row--still sporting that stupid brush cut.
