James Marshall Chamberlain, Age 94, of 111 Northeast Street, Knoxville, PA, Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at the Collins Personal Care Home, 306 E ast Main Street, Elkland, PA. He was born November 19, 1911 in Sabinsvi lle, PA, the son of Charles and Thankful Short Chamberlain. He was a ve teran of the U.S. Navy who served in the Atlantic and Pacific during WW II on the USS CARD. He worked as a self-employed upholsterer after WWII . He was employed for many years by Ingersoll-Rand, and her retired fro m the United States Postal Service. He was a charter member and Past Co mmander of Knoxville V.F.W. Post #6753. He was a member of Club "63", E lkland, PA, and a social member of the Knoxville-Deerfield Fire Co. Sur vived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Connie Chamberlain, Duncann on, PA; daughter and son-in-law, Nola and Gary Ream, Knoxville, PA; dau ghter, Judith Hunter, R.D., Osceola, PA; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in deat h by his wife, Ella in 1991. Family and friends are invited to call at t he Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc., 214 West Main Street, Elkland, PA, Saturd ay from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Burial in Riverside Cemetery, Knoxville, PA. Memor ial donations may be made to Knoxville V.F.W. Post #6753, and the Valle y Community Ambulance Assn.
